This policy explains what information CarVeyor collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the third parties involved. We collect only what we need to respond to you and operate the business.

Information you provide

When you submit a contact, consignment, hunt, instant-offer, or financing form, we collect the details you enter (such as name, phone, email, vehicle details, and any message). Form submissions are sent to our dealer management system at app.carveyor.com to create and manage your inquiry.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide a phone number and check the SMS consent box, we store your number and your opt-in consent and may text or call you about your inquiry, a vehicle of interest, consignment or offer status, and appointment or delivery updates. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. We never share or sell your phone number or SMS consent to third parties for their marketing. VIN decoding

When you decode a VIN, the VIN is sent to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration vehicle database (vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov) to return the year, make, model, and trim.

Analytics and infrastructure

We use privacy-conscious analytics (such as Google Analytics and Cloudflare) to understand how the site is used, and Cloudflare to serve and secure the site. Vehicle photography and history-report PDFs are served from Cloudflare R2; some video content is embedded from YouTube.

AI chat

If you use the on-site chat, your messages are processed to generate replies and may be retained to follow up on your inquiry. Do not share sensitive financial details in chat.

How we use your information

To respond to inquiries, prepare offers and consignment terms, arrange inspection and delivery, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information. We correspond from @carveyor.com, never a personal account.
